What it is

Pure Life Ministries has run since 1986 and sits at the far end of the intensity scale: a nine-month residential programme for men on a rural Kentucky campus, built on the conviction that the issue is the overall spiritual health of the person rather than the behaviour alone. Three remote alternatives extend the reach — Overcomers At-Home, a 16-week programme for men who cannot relocate; a 12-week Wives Program for women devastated by a husband's infidelity; and Create in Me a Pure Heart, a 12-week programme for women with their own struggle. The approach is heavily biblical and discipleship-driven rather than clinically framed, which is a real distinction from HopeQuest or Begin Again Institute — worth knowing which model you are choosing, particularly where trauma is a significant factor. Nine months residential is an enormous commitment of life and income; pricing is not published, and the site directs applicants to a payments page.
