Pure Desire Groups are built to a specification that explains their reputation: four to seven people, weekly two-hour meetings by secure video, sustained over eight to ten months, with daily workbook and journal work, weekly video companions and accountability calls between sessions. That is a serious commitment, and it is deliberate — the eight-to-ten month arc covers the period where shorter programmes hand people back to themselves too early. Groups are separated by need: men, women, and Betrayal & Beyond for partners, so a wife is never processing her own trauma in a room organized around her husband's addiction. Curriculum includes Seven Pillars of Freedom and Betrayal & Beyond, biblically-based with structured workbooks and video. You can join an online group or find a local one through their map of churches and communities across the country, and churches can register their own groups. Cost varies by group and is shown before you create an account; materials ship for $10–17 in the US.
